Pr\u00e4sentation und Rezeption der Antikensammlung Peretti Montalto.<\/p>\n<p>Der Codex Montalto umfasst nahezu 280 Zeichnungen nach der Antikensammlung Montalto Peretti. Diese trug Kardinal Alessandro Montalto Peretti im fr\u00fchen 17. Jahrhundert in der r\u00f6mischen Villa seines Onkels, Papst Sixtus V., zusammen. Sie z\u00e4hlte zu den bedeutendsten Antikenkollektionen des Barock, gleichwertig denen der Borghese und Giustiniani. 1785 wurde sie vollst\u00e4ndig zerschlagen. Der Codex Montalto gibt einen einzigartigen Einblick in die Zusammensetzung der Sammlung und erm\u00f6glicht deren Rekonstruktion. Der Band, der einen vollst\u00e4ndig bebilderten Katalog des in Privatbesitz befindlichen Codex beinhaltet, wird sowohl die erste kunsthistorischen Bearbeitung des Zeichnungskonvoluts als auch die erste umfassende sammlungshistorische Studie zur Antikensammlung Montalto und ihrer Rezeption vorlegen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cyriacus.
